Major FLEXUS announcements, official videos, and selected press coverage, newest first. Last checked July 31, 2026.
FLEXUS released the 37-second “Another Friendslop Game” teaser and said Dear Passengers was close to two million wishlists. The milestone has not yet been announced as reached.

FLEXUS says the team is working every day on more game mechanics, unexpected events, suspicious luggage, and additional passengers who should never be allowed near an airplane.
FLEXUS confirmed Dear Passengers reached one million wishlists and the Top 25 most wishlisted games on Steam within two days of its reveal — with, in the studio's words, no marketing, no paid creators and no ads.
The studio reported 700,000 wishlists in 36 hours and called Dear Passengers the most talked-about game in the world during its announcement week. Trade coverage had already logged more than 500,000 within hours of the reveal.
The Kyiv studio revealed the Dear Passengers game and opened its Steam page the same day. The Game Awards account reshared the trailer, and the clip spread through Instagram in several languages.
01 · YOUR PRE-FLIGHT BRIEFING
The Dear Passengers game is an action-adventure built around teamwork, bad decisions, and slapstick physics. Steam sums it up bluntly: play in co-op as the crew of the world's worst airline, where the plane is falling apart, the cargo is illegal, and passenger safety barely makes the list. One crew member can stay in the cockpit while the rest work inside the aircraft. The job sounds simple — deliver passengers and cargo to their destination. The trouble is that the plane is unreliable, the customers are demanding, and the most profitable manifest may also be the most dangerous.
That setup makes Dear Passengers less like a serious flight simulator and more like a shared crisis generator. You still have responsibilities — pilot, serve, secure, repair, react — but loose objects, air pockets, weather, and unruly travellers turn those responsibilities into comedy. Steam lists single-player alongside online co-op, so a lone employee can clock in too, although FLEXUS has not explained how solo role switching works. Our Dear Passengers gameplay guide breaks each system down, and the crew roles guide covers who should do what.

02 · A FLIGHT IN FIVE DECISIONS
The official description gives the ingredients. This route map shows how those systems fit into one readable shift.
Before takeoff, Dear Passengers asks the crew to choose who and what comes aboard. Safer choices should make the cabin easier to manage; risky passengers and high-paying cargo promise a better reward but create more ways for the flight to fail.
Put a confident flyer in the cockpit and give the cabin a clear first responder. Dear Passengers supports online co-op, but no maximum player count is confirmed. Good communication may matter more than a large crew when problems happen at both ends of the aircraft.
Passengers expect food, drinks, and something close to a smooth ride. Routine service keeps the cabin busy before the emergency arrives. A meal cart, loose suitcase, or impatient traveller can become part of the physics problem once the plane starts moving.
Dynamic weather, turbulence, and air pockets can throw passengers, luggage, and unsecured items through the cabin. Dear Passengers is about stopping one comic accident from becoming several: protect the cargo, settle the travellers, and keep the aircraft operating.
The stated objective is delivery, preferably in one piece. A successful run appears to balance arrival, safety, and payout rather than perfect procedure. Exact scoring, progression, and failure rules have not been detailed, so treat them as open questions.
03 · CREW OPERATING NOTES
Strategy suggestions based on the confirmed systems — not announced tutorials or class rules.
Keep flying as the primary job. Warn the cabin before sharp turns, bad weather, or air pockets so teammates can secure loose cargo and passengers. Dear Passengers makes the cockpit and cabin dependent on each other; silence turns turbulence into cleanup.
Choose the worst active problem, announce it, and finish it before chasing the next distraction. Food service matters, but a moving suitcase or unstable traveller can create a chain reaction that costs more time than a delayed drink.
Do not simply select every lucrative option. Mix high-risk cargo with manageable passengers until your group learns the aircraft. Dear Passengers openly links higher payouts to more trouble, so the manifest is effectively the crew's difficulty setting before departure.
04 · NOW BOARDING
The announcement trailer shows the tone more clearly than a checklist can: first-person cockpit work, crowded cabins, improvised problem-solving, and a plane that seems determined to embarrass its crew. Play it here, then read the shot-by-shot trailer breakdown to see which mechanics the footage actually proves.

Four short loops show why the Dear Passengers game is built for shared reactions rather than silent, perfectly optimised play.
Loose luggage turns a routine service run into a physics-driven scramble.
Unusual cargo can increase the reward while making the flight harder to control.
Food, drinks, impatient travellers, and an aircraft that refuses to stay calm.
The funniest solutions are rarely the ones in the safety manual.

06 · CONFIRMED VS. UNKNOWN
Dear Passengers is still approaching release, so precision matters. The information below comes from the current Steam listing and separates published features from details FLEXUS has not shared. No guessed launch date or invented crew size is hiding in the small print — the Dear Passengers Steam page breakdown shows where each line comes from.
Check the official Steam listing ↗07 · MINIMUM CABIN EQUIPMENT
The published minimum target is modest in storage but asks for a DirectX 12 system. Recommended specifications are not listed yet, and Steam Deck compatibility remains unconfirmed. The Dear Passengers system requirements guide explains what each line means for real hardware.
08 · SAVE YOUR SEAT
Roughly two million people have already done this. Wishlisting is also the only reliable launch alert: FLEXUS controls the store page, so a countdown copied from anywhere else can be wrong. The Dear Passengers Steam wishlist walkthrough adds screenshots and the milestone timeline.

09 · MEET THE DEVELOPER
FLEXUS develops and publishes the Dear Passengers game. The official studio profile describes a Kyiv-based team founded in 2020, with more than 70 people and over 300 million game downloads across 150+ countries. Dear Passengers is its first major PC co-op title after a mobile catalogue — which is part of why the Dear Passengers announcement surprised so many people.

12 · PASSENGER QUESTIONS
Last fact-checked against official FLEXUS sources on July 31, 2026.
Steam gives Dear Passengers a 2026 release window. An exact month and day have not been announced, so any more precise date should be treated as speculation until FLEXUS updates the store page. Some coverage has written “Fall 2026”; that phrasing does not appear on the store listing. Full detail in the Dear Passengers release date guide.
Yes. Dear Passengers is listed with multiplayer, co-op, and online co-op, and Steam also lists single-player. FLEXUS has not published the maximum crew size or explained matchmaking, so any specific player count you see quoted is an interpretation of trailer footage.
Yes, single-player is confirmed. What remains unknown is how the game handles several jobs for one person — quick role switching, assistance, simplified tasks, or another system. The crew roles guide covers what each job involves either way.
Steam currently lists interface support for English, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Japanese. Full audio and subtitle coverage is not broken out in the listing. See the Dear Passengers Steam page breakdown.
FLEXUS founder Semen Kozyura said the team is preparing a Gamescom demo and plans to release a public demo later. No public download date is listed yet. Windows PC remains the only confirmed platform; console, Mac, and Linux versions have not been announced.
It is the cabin greeting the premise runs on — and the reason FLEXUS titles its milestone posts “PASSENGERS ONBOARD”. The Dear Passengers welcome on board briefing explains the boarding sequence a new crew works through before the doors close.
FLEXUS is both developer and publisher. This site is an independent Dear Passengers briefing, not an official FLEXUS or Valve website. Use the Steam listing for final purchasing and release information.
No. FLEXUS stated in a developer-tagged Steam reply that Dear Passengers was created without generative AI. The job posting players discussed concerned marketing assets for older mobile projects, not this game. Read the developer clarification ↗
